Opus onboarding: setting up for success

The challenge

Opus Corporate Finance was welcoming new team members. They needed to equip each individual with an understanding of Opus values and culture. The challenge was how to communicate an alignment on the behaviours new members could demonstrate to live Opus values and excel as part of their high performing team.

The solution

Working closely with leaders at Opus, we developed the Opus onboarding series to welcome new members and set them up for success. The programme included a series of workshops, one to ones, feedback conversations and a continued development plan sharing practical tools to support individuals in three key areas: mindset, focus, and how they could reflect Opus values in their work and interactions.

The impact

The new members are now integrated into the Opus team and aligned on the behaviours they can demonstrate to excel in their role as a valued member of the Opus team.

It was useful to have clear actions and tools to use both during the session and going forward in client meetings. I also enjoyed the discussing the thought provoking content with colleagues in the training
